Jorge Restrepo is the CEO of EurekaFacts, a research-based strategic consulting, data collection, and analytics firm located in Rockville, Maryland. Since founding EurekaFacts in 2003, he provides actionable consumer insights that help clients discover, maximize opportunities, and drive social impact.
Jorge has shaped an insights organization like no other. EurekaFacts, is the first and only Latino-owned firm to attain International Standards Organization certification for market research (ISO 20252) and one that serves many of the world’s most respected organizations.
Prior to establishing EurekaFacts, Jorge led commercial analytics for retail conglomerate Exito-Cadenalco in Medellín, Colombia. He was a product marketing manager for international industrial-automotive conglomerate SACATEC. Jorge also served as the market research director at Youth for Understanding International Exchange and as chief marketing officer at Association for International Practical Training.
As a strong advocate for small businesses and entrepreneurship as a critical upward mobility avenue, Jorge is deeply involved in the community. He serves on several local boards including the Universities at Shady Grove Advisory Board, served on a Maryland Governor’s Commission on Small Business, and chaired the Hispanic Business Foundation of Maryland, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County, the Maryland Hispanic Business Conference, and the Mid Atlantic Insights Association. In 2018, he was inducted into the Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame.
Jorge holds a Scaling Up Excellence Certificate from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a master’s degree in General Administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Maryland University College School of Management and Technology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with minors in Economics and Finance from EAFIT University in Medellín, Colombia. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
