Doug Gottlieb has been taking some heat on social media and he clears up any misconceptions about exactly what was said. He reminds those taking his comments out of context that he will be keeping receipts.
“Something I said taken completely out of context and used, weaponized against me as if I’m some trash talking, first-time Division 1 head coach that calls an opponent, a capable opponent, ‘Nobody U.” Like, am I an idiot? Maybe I’m an idiot, but not in this case... We’re not going anywhere. The show’s not distracting me, I just need to be better at both of my jobs and it’s a challenge...and if you’re not on board, that’s fine, you don’t have to be. It’s OK. I’m not for everybody, but just remember, people that make the comments; I’m keeping receipts.”
