We are being told to stay at home. We are being told to practice social distancing. What if you are homeless? What if you depend on gathering at shelters for food and basic supplies? During this pandemic, many shelters in DC are still open, and volunteers still take the time to help out...all while adapting to some new rules. Ali Perez is the owner of Bethesda Chiropractic and Rehabilitation and has been a volunteer for a long time and continues to do so during this scary time. She told me how they are adapting:
