A Russian military transport plane is helping the tri-state area with medical supplies. The plane, similar to the U.S. military's C-5 Galaxy, landed at JFK Airport today, after taking off from Moscow.
According to a report, the supplies were sent after a conversation between President Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
It includes protective gear like masks along with ventilators and antiseptics.
An air traffic controller could be heard thanking the pilot when he landed.
Russia already sent planeloads of supplies to Italy along with medics in military vehicles labeled "From Russia with Love."
