Jeremy Blank, Managing Partner, Deloitte

As managing partner of Deloitte's Greater Washington practice, Jeremy Blank brings 27 years of experience serving clients in various industries, including technology, manufacturing, government contracting, and financial services. Currently, he oversees more than 16,000 Deloitte professionals across Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. His responsibilities include overseeing the strategy and direction of Deloitte’s client service, talent initiatives, and corporate citizenship across the Greater Washington marketplace.

As the East Region Tax Talent Leader, Jeremy Blank is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing talent initiatives across the east region tax practice. These initiatives include but are not limited to recruiting, retention, promotion, learning and development, diversity equity and inclusion, and well-being.

In his client service role, he has extensive experience assisting clients in various US and global tax areas, including tax research and analysis, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions (including structuring and due diligence), accounting for income taxes, tax technology, and compliance. Jeremy Blank also focuses on bringing each of Deloitte’s businesses to market, driving member firm engagement, and establishing go-to-market strategies and global business alliances.

Jeremy Blank served as the Greater Washington Tax managing partner for the past ten years.

From 2006-2007, Jeremy Blank had the privilege of serving on the Deloitte US Board Council. In this role, he supported the US Board in various governance matters and served on the Deloitte US Board Risk Committee.

As part of Deloitte’s Washington National Tax Practice, Jeremy Blank spent two years specializing in corporate income tax and consolidated income tax return matters, including mergers and acquisitions, technical opinions/memorandums, and ruling requests.

Jeremy Blank currently serves on the boards of the Wolf Trap Foundation (including its Education Committee), Greater Washington Board of Trade, United Way of the National Capital Region, DC-College Access Program, and Black Bear Hockey Youth Foundation. He is also a member of Leadership Greater Washington (Class of 2011). He previously served on the boards of Imagination Stage, 114th Partnership, and Montgomery County Business Roundtable for Education.

Jeremy Blank is a graduate of the University of Florida (Ba and Ma Accounting - 1995).
