David Gorodetski, Founder & CEO, Sage Communications

CEO and co-founder of Sage Communications, David Gorodetski, is a consummate leader with over three decades of strategic communications experience and involvement in the Washington DC, community. His background as both a proven business professional and an award-winning artist uniquely positions him to support clients in unmatched ways.

Following his fast-moving career in an advertising agency and as a head of practice at Ogilvy PR, David co-founded and has led Sage Communications since 2004. He is an expert in strategy and ideation and has worked with nationally and internationally recognized clients, with specific expertise and focus on public sector, technology, non-profit, and membership organizations. Under his guidance and leadership, Sage has grown organically and through strategic acquisitions to become one of the leading PR and marketing firms in the Washington metropolitan.

David has an innate ability to understand the needs of clients and then create a vision and plan to attain their go-to-market goals. He approaches all projects with an acute level of creativity, strong market understanding, and integrity to deliver high-quality results.

David's creative efforts have earned three Addys and two EMA honors. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Media Studies from the Parsons School of Design in New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Design from the WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education in Haifa, Israel.

David actively serves on multiple causes and art-related boards, including Leadership Greater Washington, Sitar Arts Center, and DC Jazz Festival. He is also a sailor, an aspiring stand-up comedian, and a connoisseur of all things jazz.
