Jessica Shea, Founder & CEO, Cheers in a Box

Having always been inspired by the transformative power of creativity and style, Jessica has made a personal passion her profession, launching J Shea in

2012, and most recently, Cheers in a Box in 2020. It is with her meticulous attention to detail and enthusiasm for extraordinary experiences that has allowedJessica to conceptualize, style and produce full- service, one-of-a-kind, in-person and now also virtual events for corporations, associations, and individuals.

Drawn to a creative environment, Shea worked with the Washington Redskins in the special events department at FedExField. From there, she took leading roles in event planning with the Health Industry Distributors Association and Talley Management Group, while getting her certification in meeting planning(CMP).

As the Founder & CEO of two companies, Jessica and her team have executed hundreds of live events around the United States. When those live events ceased due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she quickly pivoted with the concept of sending a virtual “cheers!” gift in the mail, and providing a fun and engaging virtual event to go along with it. In just 1 and a half short years, Cheers in a Box’s client-base includes large corporations such as Dell, Salesforce, Intel and Deltek, with thousands of guests signing on and gifts being sent all over the world.

Family first.  As the daughter of a college football coach, and an All-American collegiate lacrosse player, Jessica knows a thing or two about hard work, reliability, and dedication. She was recently inducted into her high school and college's Hall of Fame, and she is very involved in the community and event industry, volunteering her time to produce multiple events to raise money for industry foundations and charitable organizations In addition to playing mom to 3, Jessica was just featured in Connect Magazine for their 2020 40 Under 40 Awards, was selected as one of BizBash’s Top 500 influential event professionals in 2021, and her events have been featured in publications including BizBash, The Washingtonian, and Meetings & Conventions Magazine.
