Sunny Singh, CEO, Aeyon

Sunny Singh and his family fled religious persecution in India and arrived in the United States as a young boy. As Sikhs, it was a difficult time to navigate their new country since the terrorist attacks of 9/11 brought racism, fear, and scrutiny to those who wore turbans. His father drove a cab and his mother worked at groceries and convenience stores. Obstacles were everywhere and without a financial safety net, the greatest challenge he faced was how to pursue building wealth while living in poverty.

Sunny disliked school intensely and began work in traditional banking after high school and quickly rose to become the youngest branch manager of Chevy Chase Bank. Dissatisfied with those limitations, he saved and bought a moving company at age 20. Within four years, he grew the operation from $100,000 to $4 million. Always wanting more, Sunny capitalized on a pivotal opportunity and won a prime contract with the DoD. He continued to scale the business, adding logistical operations, and was then acquired by Waste Management’s Pack Rat company. After running their Government Relations division and driving revenues to $30 million, Sunny departed for his next entrepreneurial venture.

Sunny’s drive to make something of himself is part of his DNA, overcoming cultural and financial hurdles and strategically evolving. Because he started working right out of high school, he pursued his college degree online while working full time. He built himself a skill set for business success; later receiving his MBA and then executive education certification at the prestigious Wharton School.

Sunny’s name fits him, and he thrives in his role of CEO to be on the frontlines leveraging opportunities and building alliances. Sunny purchased Artlin Consulting in December of 2018 and became CEO. Founded in 2011, Artlin Consulting was a company of 70 employees, with $23 Million in revenue. Sunny guided Artlin through a merger with Sehlke Consulting and in February 2021, secured private equity funding to grow even more. The team renamed the company Aeyon to stand for “advance” and “beyond.”

In February 2022, two new acquisitions Marick Group and Manufacturing Technical Solutions LLC, has seen enormous growth. Aeyon is a company is 668 employees, with $215M revenue with a forecast of $250M at the end of 2022.

As President & Chief Executive Officer, Sunny provides leadership and vision for Aeyon. He is responsible for company direction, strategic goals, and growth objectives with a focus on delivering transformative solutions for defense and civil missions. Sunny lives with his wife and high school sweetheart, Neha, and their son in Northern Virginia.
