Dan Snyder, owner of the Washington Commanders NFL team, has reportedly just bought the most expensive single family house ever in the Washington, DC area.
According to FOX 5 DC, Snyder paid $48M in cash for the Fairfax County estate, located on the Potomac River in Mount Vernon, Virginia.
Snyder is currently in the midst of a NFL investigation looking into a series of workplace allegations that took place under his watch involving sexual harassment, and other inappropriate and possibly illegal activities.
Meanwhile, with the unveiling of the new team name and logo, Snyder is seeking out potential locations for a new stadium after the lease for the much-derided FedExField expires. Wherever it lands, there's a good chance taxpayers will be hosed by the construction.
