A man taking a nap in the lobby of a DC hotel had his $18,000 Rolex watch stolen off his wrist, surveillance video shows.
It happened at the Residence Inn by Marriott Convention Center in July. On July 30 a police officer was flagged down by the victim who claimed he was sleeping when someone took the watch off his wrist while he was asleep.
A suspect was found and their room was searched but the watch did not turn up.
