Olympic Medalist Torri Huske Greeted with Surprise Coming Home to Arlington

Arlington native and now Olympic medalist Torri Huske returned home from Tokyo last night after taking the silver for the U.S. in the 4x100m relay. Unexpectedly, dozens of supporters from her hometown came out to her neighborhood to welcome her back home.

The 19-year-old swimmer was surprised when she saw all of the people who came out to see her and was given some big hugs from her parents. She then thanked everyone who supported her from miles away while she was in Japan.

"Thank you everyone for your support and helping me through this process. Even though I couldn't hear you guys, it was nice that I had a community of people still supporting me," she says.

Huske's appearance in the Olympics for Team USA Swimming was her first, and likely not her last. Overall, the team won 30 medals in Tokyo.
