Two young adult males were shot and killed in Northwest D.C. according to MPD on Sunday afternoon. The shooting occurred on Q Street NW in the 100 block area. The 100-200 blocks are now closed for investigation.
The two victims were both in their 20s. There was a third victim that was seen walking into a hospital.
This marks the third major incident in less than two weeks in the district with gun violence. Community leaders are speaking out. Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie spoke during a press conference today saying, "Resources need to placed into these areas before the shots are fired."
