Biden Warns Putin About Ukraine, Suggests Summit

PUTIN

(Washington, DC) -- President Biden is warning Russian President Vladimir Putin about Ukraine and is suggesting a summit. The two leaders talked by phone and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki noted the "challenging relationship" between the U.S. and Russia. Biden spoke out about aggressive Russian moves against Ukraine. He said a summit with Putin could happen in a neutral third country in coming months. Psaki told reporters that the U.S. hopes to craft a predictable and stable relationship with Russia. She said the two countries can work together in areas of mutual interest. The White House provided a readout of the phone call, but did not note Putin's reaction to the suggestion of a summit with Biden.
