SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- The 2020 winegrape harvest is officially underway in Napa and Sonoma counties about a week earlier than expected.
The kickoff reportedly started Monday, where crews picked the first grapes for sparkling wine. But unlike previous years, celebrations have been muted.
Instead of hosting large crowds, winery workers are just popping a few corks and de-masking long enough for a toast.
