LOS ANGELES, CA -- After a particularly challenging political season in 2016, a former Marine and a liberal journalist decided to take a 3,000 mile road trip together to find common ground.

Jordan Blashek, a former Marine infantry officer and conservative millennial, and his best friend, Chris Haugh, a liberal journalist and speech writer, share their discoveries in the new book “Union - a Democrat and a Republican Search for Common Ground."
