Frontline workers are channelling WWII nurses to help them through the crisis

WASHINGTON, DC -- A fiction author says healthcare professionals on the frontlines are taking a look back to former frontline survivors for inspiration to help them cope with the coronavirus pandemic.

Ed Ruggero, author of the new novel Blame the Dead, says that nurses in particular are channeling the strength of earlier generations to help them through this health crisis.
