WASHINGTON, DC — Facebook, Google, and Twitter have announced that employees will be able to work remotely through the end of the year, and one local office training program is preparing to transition local employees for the same options.
In fact, Twitter is telling some of its employees they don't ever have to go back into the office.The CEO sent out an email saying they could work from home permanently, even after all stay-at-home orders end.
“What I’m seeing in the marketplace is a hybrid approach, a rotation of who goes in, who stays at home, and who works remotely,” Aaron Udler, President of Office Pro Inc, told 104.7 WONK FM’s Jen Richer. “I don’t think we’ll ever go back to normal.”
The tech giant is expected to open its offices by September.Facebook and Google are also allowing remote work to continue the rest of the year.
