SAN JOSE, CA -- Video conferencing software company Zoom is working to improve security as more people work from home due to COVID-19. A new version of the software will be out this week with better encryption to protect data and prevent intruders from crashing meetings.
Zoom-bombing, as it's called, has resulted in things like meetings being bombarded with pornography and swastikas. The new version will require passwords and for hosts to admit an attendee.
