LONDON, UK - At the initial outbreak of COVID-19, several airports began taking passenger temperatures before allowing them to board the plane.
According to John Holland-Kaye, CEO of London's Heathrow Airport, the practice could stick around when the pandemic is over.
Speaking to The Times UK, Holland-Kaye said health testing should be in place globally, which would help "provide reassurance and confidence in flying".
Holland-Kaye believes travelers would understand the need, comparing it to the 2006 ban on liquids, since, "It helped keep people safe."
