REDWOOD CITY, CA --Some Oracle employees aren't happy with CEO Larry Ellison's support of President Trump.
Around 300 walked off the job Thursday in protest of Ellison's decision to hold a fundraiser for the President earlier this week in Southern California.
The $100,000 dollar-a-person event had contributors in on a golf outing in Rancho Mirage and a photo.
For a quarter-million, they got the golf, photo, and participation in a roundtable discussion.
Ellison is one of the few leaders in the tech industry to publicly support Trump.Trump heads later in the day to a rally in Arizona.
The protest, dubbed "No Ethics/No Work," saw the employees stopping work around noon and spending the rest of the day volunteering.The company has more than 130,00 employees.
On Wednesday, Trump administration lawyers backed Oracle in its legal battle with Google over copyrights, a case headed to the Supreme Count next month.
President Trump is in Las Vegas for a planned rally at the Convention Center today.Supporters of the president camped out as early as 3 a.m. yesterday.
Over 100 were there by 6 p.m. last night.
