There have been rumors swirling around for awhile now that the online food delivery company Grubhub was up for sale.
The CEO of the company, Matt Maloney, put out a statement recently that read in part, "there is unequivocally no process in place to sell the company and there are currently no plans to do so." However, after Maloney said that, we hear a sale might still be on the table.
He told MSNBC he is open to talks with potential buyers, but isn’t actively seeking bids.
The Chicago based company has reportedly gotten some interest from four major grocers. Maloney says he has not received any offers.
