President Trump Announces Revised NAFTA Deal With Mexico

WASHINGTON, DC -- The president of Mexico is refusing President Trump's offer of military aid to fight drug cartels.

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said it's not in line with Mexican convictions and called war the "worst thing."

Trump's offer followed news that at least nine American members of a Mormon family were killed during a highway ambush in a Mexican border state this week.

The dead include six children and three women.They were part of a caravan of members of a Mormon settlement called La Mora in the border state of Sonora.Several other members were reportedly kidnapped after their convoy came under fire during a brazen daylight ambush Monday.

President Trump offered Mexico help in fighting drug cartels.Trump tweeted that it is time to wage "WAR" on the cartels to "wipe them off the face of the earth." He urged the president of Mexico to give him a call.
