Report: U.S. Behind A Cyber Attack Against Iran

WASHINGTON DC -- A new report says the U.S. carried out a cyber attack against Iran after last month's attack on Saudi Arabian oil facilities.

According to Reuters, two American officials said the attack were aimed at limiting Iran's ability to spread propaganda. The attack apparently targeted physical hardware, but no other details were given.

The U.S., Saudi Arabia, and a number of Western Allies place the blame for the refinery attack on Iran, which Tehran denies.

Publicly, President Trump threatened to tighten sanctions on Iran if the country continues its "menacing behavior." In a speech to the United Nations, Trump said "all nations have a duty to act" in stopping Iran's influence.

He called the regime one of the "greatest security threats facing peace-loving nations."

An investigation last year found dozens of websites pushing Iranian propaganda to at least 15 countries.
