Two Indiana brothers in their 20s are accused of building and selling automatic rifles believing they would be shipped overseas to support a terrorist group.
Moyad Dannon, 21, and Mahde Dannon, 20, of Fishers, Indiana, were indicted with multiple firearms charges and one count of trying to provide material support and resources to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, the Justice Department said July 11.
The Dannon brothers are accused of selling homemade weapons to an undercover FBI agent and agreeing to build fully automatic “ghost guns” they thought would be sent to the Middle East to ISIS.
After the brothers allegedly manufactured five, untraceable fully-automatic .223 caliber rifles and sold them to undercover FBI agents, they were arrested.
Both face up to 10 years in prison on each of the firearms charges and 20 years in prison for trying to help IS.
The two were arrested May 15 and officially indicted July 2.
