The Army is rolling out a new science podcast that explores various areas of research and feature conversations with up-and-coming researchers.
“What We Learned Today” is hosted by Philip Perconti, director of the Army Research Laboratory, who talks with scientists and engineers about the cutting edge of lab's foundational research.
"This is a collaborative environment," Perconti said in a May 31 release announcing the new product. "In order to collaborate, you need to know where people are coming from. What they think is important. Getting together with people and communicating on as many different levels as possible is the intent here."
The first episodes will discuss topics such as synthetic biology, future fuels and innovative robotics.
The podcast can be found on iTunes and Google Play, as well as on the laboratory's homepage and the podcast homepage. The goal is to have an app so listeners can subscribe to future episodes, ARL said.
