National Intelligence Strategy Proposes Cyber Attack Increase

The 2019 National Intelligence Strategy was released by the Director of National Intelligence on Jan. 22. The strategy focuses on a four-year-plan on how to better the Intelligence Community in America. 

“This strategy is based on the core principle of seeking the truth and speaking the truth to our policymakers and the American people in order to protect our country,” said Director Coats in the NIS press release.

"Cyber threats will pose an increasing risk to public health, safety, and prosperity as information technologies are integrated into critical infrastructure, vital national networks, and consumer devices. The IC must continue to grow its intelligence capabilities to meet these evolving cyber threats as a part of a comprehensive cyber posture positioning the Nation for strategic and tactical response," addresses the document below.
