Greg Nossaman, a Co-Founder and Managing Director at G Squared Capital Partners, works with Aerospace, Defense and Government Services companies to maximize value through mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Nossaman has deep experience advising company owners, management teams and boards of directors on acquisitions, divestitures, public and private equity raises, fairness opinions, management and employee buyouts and enhancing shareholder value.
Mr. Nossaman has focused exclusively on the Aerospace, Defense and Government Services sector since 2000, working with companies that specialize in a wide range of products and services, including information technology, healthcare IT, cybersecurity, defense technologies, systems engineering, software development, C4ISR, training and other technical and professional services. His clients have served nearly every facet of the federal government, including intelligence, defense, civilian and homeland security organizations. Mr. Nossaman has advised on and closed transactions with such industry leaders as BAE Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton, DRS Technologies, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, ManTech International, Raytheon, and many more. He also has closed transactions with such leading private equity groups as AE Industrial Partners, Arlington Capital Partners, The Carlyle Group, CM Equity, Enlightenment, Sagewind Capital, and TPG.
Mr. Nossaman was previously a Senior Managing Director at The McLean Group, a Senior Vice President at BB&T Capital Markets | Windsor Group, and one of the foundational employees at The Windsor Group, one of the first investment banks focused exclusively on the government market. Mr. Nossaman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia with a double major in Mathematics and Economics and a concentration in Financial Economics.
He is a frequent industry speaker and author. Mr. Nossaman was a recipient of the M&A Advisor’s 2013 "40 Under 40" award in the dealmaker category.

Greg Woodford, a Co-Founder and Managing Director at G Squared Capital Partners, brings more than 20 years’ experience serving middle market companies in the Aerospace, Defense and Government Services industries. Mr. Woodford has advised clients on a wide range of strategic alternatives including mergers & acquisitions (both buy side and sell side), recapitalizations, management buyouts and raising capital. He has represented companies ranging in size from $10 million to $250 million, and has completed transactions with many of the industry’s leading companies including Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, CACI International, Raytheon, ICF International, ManTech International and SAIC, among others.
Prior to co-founding G Squared Capital Partners, he was a Senior Managing Director at the McLean Group, and a Managing Director at BB&T Capital Markets (formerly The Windsor Group) from 1999 to 2013. Prior to BB&T Capital Markets, Mr. Woodford was a Research Equity Analyst at Ferris Baker Watts covering the Defense and Government Contracting industries. He previously worked for the Institutional Research Group of Branch Cabell & Company (now RBC Dain Rauscher) in Richmond, VA. Mr. Woodford holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, and a BA from the University of Richmond. He is a frequent industry speaker and author and is currently on the board of directors of the National Capital Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
